Weight Loss Support Group

Bariatric surgery is a life-changing procedure. Support groups have proven to be an essential part of a long-term successful treatment plan. Group sessions promote healthy lifestyle changes by providing a forum to network with others on a similar journey. Sharing experiences can be both supportive and educational.


Bariatric support group sessions are open to anyone who's already had weight loss surgery or for those considering it.

  • Traditional Face-to-Face Support Group

    When:

    2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00PM


    Where:

    Avera McKennan Fitness Center Conference Room

    3400 S. Southeastern Ave

    Sioux Falls, SD

  • Video-Conference Options at Your Local Hospital

    When:

    2nd Thursday of each month at 12:00PM

    3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:30PM
